Key locations that can be found on the planet Sorus, home to Tech Class Dragons, the Goblins, and the Mellett.
Other Races Present: Goblins, Mellett
Sorus is home to Tech Class Dragons. If there was a place to call artificially built, Sorus is a prime example. It had been a rather bare planet before the Goblins rose and built a forest of metal so to speak. Goblins built cities all across Sorus which the dragons grew to enjoy living among. The technology is a little old, but the Goblins love it.
Sorus has no weather thanks to not only the environment but the inventions stopping clouds from forming. Sorus is kept in the mid 50s when no machines run and no sources of heat are powered up.
The High Society Goblin City. The pinnacle of Goblin engineering... Or so they say. Filled with High Society Goblins, this massive barge carries a bustling city of crudely designed buildings and winding roads. Each block of this city seems to be filled with different shops even for things people wouldn't need, it also seemed three stores were accompanied by a bank. The city itself is covered from street to building in gold.
The High Society Goblin Village. Goldgear Village, if one can even call it a village, is filled to the brim with a High Society Goblin's favorite thing, capitalism. The shopping mall-esque village boasts almost three shops for every one home. Those homes usually belong to the owner of the three shops or services nearby. As is the way of High Society Goblins.
The Goblin City. The industrial and mechanical marvel of Great Cog City comes from the combined efforts of Goblins, Tech Dragons and Cyborg Dragons. Some of Great Cog City's tallest buildings boast massive solar panel canopies to absorb sunlight and power the city.
The Goblin Village. The hamlet serves as a headquarters for a collection of Goblins who assist in taking in any who were attacked by Enjigaku Dragons. The soul purpose of this village is to have it be a safe haven for those who have suffered the wrath of this conformistic breed.
The Spark Goblin village. The only noteworthy building within the village is a building dedicated to modifying and creating cybernetics for the villagers, its high interest and profit makes it the most stand-out building in the whole village.
The Mellatt city. Chromefort acts as the central hub of the Mellatt. More Mellatt are built here, programs are upgraded, and new tasks are assigned here. The Mellatt are very welcoming to visitors and travelers and are always looking to improve conditions in their vast city to accommodate their visitors to keep them comfortable.
The Mellatt village. Bronzehelm serves as a repair hub for all Mellatt. The village is also the primary location that refines and stores the gemstones that power the Standard Mellatt. The Dwarves and Mellatt assigned to mining are constantly in and out of Bronzehelm to deliver shipments of gemstones. The Mellatt don't sell or trade away their gemstones, but they will trade to receive gemstones and offer services to quality check gems as well.
The Architect Mellatt village. Despite not being a very spiritual race, the Architect Mellatt built their village to look like a metal monastery. The majority of the planet has a lot of working and moving parts that emit a lot of noise. Steamfort has minimum moving parts, rendering the village extremely quiet. Architect Mellatt take pride in the design of their village and they enjoy the peace. Many travelers visit for meditation and quiet contemplation. The village was made with all races in mind to accommodate a massive variety of visitors, even dragons.
The Tinker Mellatt village. While the Architect Mellatt helped build the foundation of the village, the Tinker Mellatt decorated it with all sorts of contraptions and trinkets they made themselves. They constantly switch out contraptions so returning visitors almost never see the same mechanisms used. Gearhold is commonly treated as a resting point for travelers as well as a spot to trade various materials and trinkets.
The Abandoned Technopath City. Alvaren’s rusted exterior and hallowed buildings look as if civil war had torn the place asunder with rubble lined streets. What remains looks like something out of a sci-fi novel and makes anything human or dragon made seem prehistoric in comparison. It still remains a mystery as to how the city became in its current state.
The Sorus Temple. A temple made of various wires and other technology parts. The temple is a gift to the Tech Dragon Deity Digibyte.
Sorus Maintenance Tunnels
The Depths of Sorus. With the amount of technology across the entire planet, there is a need for maintenance of the planet itself. Below the surface lies the Maintenance Tunnels that allow for easy care of the planet and its locations.
The Maintenance Goblin village. Rustbolt serves as a home base for the Maintenance Goblins. They only ever stay in the village to receive new tasks, sleep, eat, heal, and gather tools and supplies before heading out to their next job. Even the elder Maintenance Goblins leave Rustbolt to handle jobs close to the village. Maintenance Goblins are too restless to just sit around, even in their elder age.
The Brute Mellatt village. Steelaxe is typically used to send Brute Mellatt out onto digging jobs on Sorus, prepare them for transport to another planet, and repair damaged Mellatt. The few buildings within the village are heavy duty to withstand Brute Mellatt strength.
