Nyx was born in Dragoso, though she wanted to do more than just train in the way of swords. Taking a machete, she fled her home planet and went to Orrumai. There, she met Haarvik, Jarin'do, and Kyona and formed the Night Walkers. After Agony's defeat, Nyx led her small team to Earth to join the Voutneth Team, knowing they needed more firepower from the powerful dragons.

Haarvik, however, wanted a more exciting life. While at the trading post, he met Nyx and learned her story and her dreams of going to Earth. Haarvik joined her and started the Night Walkers. Haarvik has a very hearty personality and is very welcoming of new things.

Jarin'do and the rest of the Night Walkers appeared after Agony's defeat. He is one of few Troll/dragons and was an outsider among his people. He had gone to Orrumai and met Haarvik, becoming close friends with the Rukmar/dragon. Trolls are not known for their IQs, but due to Jarin'do's dragon abilities, he is a lot smarter than most trolls. He's known to be the brains in the Night Walkers.

Elves had always been just an ally to dragons, having high respect for the creatures, but for an elf to have dragon powers, it was unheard of. Kyona was treated differently from the others until she met Nyx and joined the Night Walkers. Despite being the youngest on the team, Kyona is known for her high level of magic skill.
