Outpost Locations: Sonarius, Whedabra
A noble race that lives eternally as long as they are not killed. Vampires have exceptional magic ability and many of the high ranking vampires are trained in the ways of combat via rapier or gun. Being creatures of the night, they dwell on Yamikage, home to Night Class Dragons.
Population Locations: Darkfang Village
The Depths variant of the Vampires. Bloodless Vampires had once dwelled on the surface of Yamikage, but were greatly feared due to their monstrous appearance. Because of this, they were constantly being hunted and killed, despite posing as much of a threat as the standard Vampires. With the risk of extinction, Salem Vladimir allowed the Bloodless Vampires to flee into the Yamikage Dungeons to remain safe from any who would do them harm. The Bloodless Vampires are freely allowed to return to the Vladimir Castle should they ever need supplies or wish to gain access to the castle’s vast library for knowledge. They also have a symbiotic relationship with the Verispell Werewolves that also dwell within the dungeons. The Bloodless Vampires would feed off their prey, draining them of blood before giving the bloodless bodies to the Verispell Werewolves for them to enjoy blood free meals. The Verispell Werewolves also protect the Bloodless Vampires from those who seek to harm them as a way to pay them back for the bloodless meals. At times the two races would even hunt together, playing off each other’s strengths for successful hunts.
Very similar to today's Vampires. Not the first Vampires in their history, more like the third as far back as their research tells. The Vampires of this age were starting to evolve to bear children, it was a new discovery at this point in their history. Vampires aren't much different back then compared to now, aside from their choice in mount, black unicorns with bat wings which have gone extinct since then.
