Known sometimes as Electric Centaurs, Shocktaurs are just that. They are centaurs that possess bioelectricity capabilities. Due to their home planet, Toirneach, having very little vegetation, they have learned to thrive on the plains and thanks to evolution, they have grown immune to the lightning strikes that seem to constantly hit their territories and at times even them. Shocktaurs have learned to harness the charges that hit them and use it to their advantage. While these Shocktaurs are considered standard, their size is anything but. Compared to Earth’s horses, they are draft horse size, from ground to the shoulders of their horse half they can reach up to 193 centimeters tall.

These Shocktaurs are smaller in size, only reaching about 162 centimeters tall. They are built for speed and endurance instead of for strength like the standard Shocktaurs. Rapid Shocktaurs prefer to flee instead of fight as well, being one of the more cautious races and fleeing from danger usually. They do rely on their bigger counterparts for protection from bigger threats and predators.

The largest of the Shocktaur variants. Raivolt Shocktaurs can get upwards of 298 centimeters tall from ground to horse shoulders. They are described as being a mixture of draft horse and leucistic zebra, having a white coat with stripes ranging from a dark golden color to light yellow almost white. Raivolt Shocktaurs are extremely skilled in creating shields with their bioelectricity and even prefer to go on the defensive instead of offense. When their size is needed, however, to protect their planet, they have no trouble joining forces with other Shockaurs and the Spark Goblins to protect their home.
Ancestors to the Shocktaurs. While the Shocktaurs are all decently sized, the Sparktrotters were found to have been very small, only getting as tall as 71 centimeters from ground to horse shoulder. Arcanewalkers spent time observing the Sparktrotters and documented them. There were observed to have very little control of their newly acquired bioelectricity and the charge they had was much higher than the Shocktaurs of today. They also had very big attitudes and would get aggressive over very little things. Some Arcanewalker notes told that a few of the researchers ended up getting kicked for being found in Sparktrotter territory, even though they meant no harm. Sparktrotters were also found to be highly offensive when it came to defending their homes. They were not scared of running straight at their enemies, this would sometimes scare off the invaders. The courage that the Sparktrotters had was what allowed them to survive as long as they did.
