The best description of this race is bipedal tigers with wings. The Tigressa are a tribal race who are very self-sufficient. They have hunters, gatherers, warriors, and hold the value of family very high. So much so they take on multiple partners within the family happily.

Advanced magical development gave these Tigressa the ability to switch between their bipedal form and a quadrupedal form. Greater Tigressa make use of their abilities in both forms in many situations. Combat, hunting, evasion, anything really. The transformation can take time so some have learned how to move like their quadrupedal form while in their bipedal form.

The Depths variant of the Tigressa. Shadow Tigressa get their name due to having black fur with white stripes, a trait that allows them to stalk in the shadows. Within the Immensum Temples, they live in harmony with the Temple Avitites. Shadow Tigressa will use the Temple Avitites as resting spots, perching on their backs when they need a break from flying. In return, they built feeding stations for the very tall birds to make eating and drinking much easier on their bodies. While they live within the Depths, Shadow Tigressa are one of the few Depths dwellers that willingly and comfortably leave the Depths to visit the surface. They do trade with the other Tigressa subraces as well as the other Avitite subraces.

Ancestors to today's Tigressa. Clawstriders appeared to have been mostly quadrupedal but were able to stand up on their back legs like hunched over bipeds when they needed to be. The Greater Tigressa hold the most traits from the Clawstriders than the standard Tigressa do. Clawstriders held druids in high regard, viewing them as elders and even leaders. While they did this, they still relied heavily on their instincts and never trusted outsiders, not even other Clawstriders.
