Sometimes compared to Earth’s Pachyderms, the Votamox is a tough skinned race that dwells with Teresj’s Orcs. While the Orcs are expert hunters, stone miners, and warriors, Votamoxen are much more versed in gathering what few plant resources found on Teresj and used for food and other means, such as roofing. Votamox are much larger than any of the other races within Dragoso and cannot be supported by the Voutneth Academy, but the Votamoxen still provide resources to Drake and Voutneth should they ever need it. The Standard Votamox are said to have a skull that is described as a cross between Earth’s Rhinos and Tapirs, they also possess an upper lip that is partial prehensile, allowing them to grip things to a degree.

Said to be very similar to Earth’s elephants, Cyfra Votamoxen are the largest out of the Votamox subraces. They have very large ears, a grasping trunk that gives them an extra limb, tusks that they adorn with armor, and their hulking size are very useful in battle and in heavy labor tasks such as log pulling. While they are massive in size, they do have a gentle side to them and enjoy caring for smaller creatures, birds seem to be their favorite companions.

Similar to Earth’s rhinos, the Dicomum Votamoxen are muscular with two impressive horns on their faces that they use for battle and when courting. They have a grasping lip like the Standard Votamoxen to help with gripping some things. While they aren’t as big as the Cyfra Votamoxen, they are still rather large and intimidating. They are hardy warriors who can withstand a lot of environments and battles. When their size and weapons don’t deter an enemy enough, the Dicomum Votamoxen will fearlessly charge right at the enemy, using their horns to gouge their insides out if they make contact. Usually enemies run when they see Dicomum Votamoxen charge at them with no fear.

Very similar to Earth’s Tapirs, the Indibair Votamoxen have a much smaller trunk than the Cyfra Votamoxen and are the smallest out of all the Votamoxen. They typically live close to bodies of water and spend a lot of their time farming. Living near water allows their crops to thrive and they take pride in that. Being the smallest of the Votamoxen, the Indibair Votamoxen are the least threatening and are the most docile. Typically they rely on the other Votamoxen or even the Orcs to help defend their village from threats. Very few Indibair Votamoxen are even capable of fighting, though some do try. They are better as gatherers and farmers, however.
Population Locations: Mahali City, Bahari Village
The highly aquatic Liberphia Votamoxen are extremely similar to Earth’s hippos, living primarily in water and having the most muscle mass out of all the Votamoxen. While they lack tusks or horns, they make up for it by having a very large gaping mouth and impressive teeth that can cut through flesh easily. While they are able to do this, they are primarily vegetarian and use intimidation tactics to keep enemies away. Because of their primarily aquatic lifestyle, they have taken up residence within the bodies of water that the Indibair Votamoxen dwell next to, protecting the docile Votamoxen and in return they get a share of their harvests every year. When their teeth and displays aren’t enough to intimidate an enemy, Liberphia Votamoxen are quite effective warriors and easily fight alongside any of the other Votamoxen in battle.
Population Locations: Kuunga Village
The Teresj Quarries dwelling Votamoxen. They live right by Teresj Quarry’s core next to the hot magma of the planet to keep the magma within their bodies molten and keep them mobile. When they leave the heat of the core, however, the magma in their bodies hardens and becomes stone. They are still able to move in this Stoney State, however they are much slower moving. While the slower movement comes with the price of their Stoney State, they are also able to hit much harder and have much better natural defenses, useful for battle when they are needed. Within Magma State, they are much more mobile and their defense isn’t as great as their Stoney State, but the fact the magma burns any that touch them, it makes up for the lack of high defense. Magma State can also melt metal weapons and armor and of course burn wooden weapons. Coreherd Votamoxen always band together when defending their homes and assisting their allies in fights as well.
Ancestors to the Votamoxen. Not much of their history can be tracked, but skeletons show they had a skull structure very similar to the Dicomum Votamoxen but smaller versions of the tusks the Cyfra Votamoxen had or even closely similar to the Trolls’ tusks. There is some speculation the Pachylumberers were related to the Ancient Trolls, but there is no proof yet. Many of the Pachylumberer ruins are located near bodies of water, suggesting they might have been semi aquatic or used the bodies of water to water crops like the Indibair Votamoxen do today.
