An insectoid race that dwells on Centiperon. Dymaleons have a praying mantis base, hercules beetle wings, and an antlion’s head and mandibles. While they have a rather terrifying appearance, they are actually rather neutral to outside factors unless they are directly taunted or messed with.

Tunnel Dymaleons

Unlike the standard Dymaleons, the Tunnel Dymaleons lack hands and instead have the far more standard praying mantis grasping arms with pointed ends that help them with digging and traversing the Centiperon Tunnels where they live. They make nests in the tunnel chambers and are very attentive to their young, going as far as to carry them on their back once they’re old enough to leave the safety of the nest. They are dark in coloration with bright colored accents to warn predators of their poisonous bodies as they are able to secrete cyanide as a defense mechanism much like what is seen in Earth’s millipedes. They prefer the darkness of the tunnels, but don’t entirely mind emerging onto the surface during the day. Though it’s not common for them to do so.

Hivecrawlers
Ancestors to the Dymaleons and looked very different from the Dymaleons. Hivecrawlers were documented by the Arcanewalkers to have looked very crustacean-like and only had one goal in mind in their lives, survival. Everything they did was in the name of surviving. They were observed to eat just about anything they came across, even going as far as to eating their own dead. Even loved ones were food for them. Being crustaceans, they no doubt relied heavily on the high humidity of Centiperon and the rains that were documented to have been quite frequent during their time.
