Hexar is a known Nixes Dragon researcher and explorer. He had left Nixes to travel to Earth to learn about the humans. It was there that he met Evanna and married her. Though, while in the relationship, he told her he was a dragon wanting to learn all he could. Upon promising to keep his secret, Evanna taught him how to be human. He remained on Earth for fourteen years, had four children with Evanna, and was happy. But like many Nixes Dragons not used to the heat of Earth, he grew weak and left his family to return to his home planet without explaining himself. Only a note was left for his wife who just gave birth to the youngest of the Vul'Gein Siblings. Upon hearing of the danger Earth was in and hearing that his kids were aiding the fight, Hexar returned to Earth to aid in helping his kids through their new lives as dragons while staying holed up at Antarctica to resist Earth's heat.

Trevor is the oldest of his siblings and has taken the role of father figure ever since Hexar left the family. In his human life, Trevor was a football player and would've gone to college for football had he not been a dragon and left for Voutneth. Trevor had a hard time accepting his new life, due to being as old as he was. Overtime, he learned to be a dragon like everyone else and embraced the new life. After saving the Exotics, Trevor bonded with Vatuna, soon having a son with her, Felix Vul'Gein. Trevor is very protective of his siblings, his mate, and his son.

Aya is very outgoing and not afraid to speak her mind. She looks up to her older brother and sister, Trevor and Brenda, all the time. Aya almost lost her life when the team attacked the Dragon Hunter base, sustaining a fatal wound. After rescuing the Exotics, Aya bonded with Ferentar. Though because of their young ages, it'll be a while before they become serious.
