Norams are said to reflect various mammals found on Earth’s North American continent. They adapted the name shortly after Earth and Dragoso were reconnected. The Standard Norams are very similar to Earth's opossums and are also the only Norams that have a pouch for carrying their young. Standard Norams are efficient pest control and eat a variety of insects. They have also adapted to be immune to a number of diseases passed on by the pests they eat including diseases seen on Earth like lyme disease and rabies. They're efficient tree climbers and can get away from predators and foes when they need to.

The stealthy and resourceful of the Norams. Kraffty Norams are very similar to Earth’s raccoons. They scavenge for anything and everything and make use of every item they come across. Scrap materials, food, plants, anything they can get a use out of. Kraffty Norams are not only resourceful, they're also very clean. Everything they find gets cleaned thoroughly before it's used. This is a trait they share with Earth raccoons, a compulsion to clean anything they find. They're not the best at climbing trees and only climb when they're threatened by predators or enemies. Typically they dive into small burrows when they need an escape.

The gardeners of the Norams. Ceddlin Norams are compared to the various squirrel species found on Earth, most notably the grey squirrel though their fur colors and features vary among individuals. Ceddlin Norams are always collecting seeds and are able to identify thousands of different seeds and know how to grow the plants from them. Ceddlin Norams have a history of helping almost all of the other races of Dragoso with their gardening and agricultural prospects and are held in high regard thanks to their skills and knowledge. Many of the elders of the races would probably tell their young about learning from the Ceddlin Norams. Ceddlin Norams not only collect seeds and know how to grow so many plants, they also grow their own gardens to help benefit wildlife, the other Norams, and the races they do trade with. Being on par with squirrels, Ceddlin Norams are the best tree climbers out of all the Norams and climb at incredible speeds. They use their tails to help with balance which gives them an advantage as well.

The proficient fighters of the Norams. Khemmi Norams are usually guards for other Norams and the Ceddlin Noram gardens. Khemmi Norams are like Earth’s skunks and use their large striped tails to warn and intimidate foes and predators. When intimidation doesn't work, like Earth skunks they have a natural rancid smelling chemical in their bodies that they can use to spray their foes to scare them off. Unlike Earth skunks, however, Khemmi Norams can alter the stench to mark their territory and attract mates. Alongside the natural chemicals in their bodies they also work with various other chemicals to use in fights. They use a variety of compounds and many of the ones they use come from Abeco. They can't climb trees at all and are fairly fast on the ground but mainly use their intimidation tactics and their chemicals to scare off predators and foes.

The Depths variant of the Norams. They are frequently confused for the Goramoles due to being very similar to Earth’s eastern mole. Digger Norams are very different from Goramoles. They don't have an obsession with treasure, they only dig to find food and develop the Albimelo Burrows, have a very low tolerance to heat, and have no tolerance for light. They never come to the surface of Albimelo and they refuse to even leave the planet due to their hatred of light.
Ancestors to the Norams. Swampdrifters were observed by Arcanewalkers as being extremely primitive to the point of being borderline feral. They were documented as being very similar to Earth’s beavers. They lived in swampy areas, had a diet of vegetation, built their dens on the water, and would sometimes even build dams to create secure bodies of water for their young to thrive until they were old enough to migrate to large lakes.
