Anakulu are sometimes described as Eskimo Amazonians. They are large women who dwell on Xarzith in the frigid cold and blizzards. They are skilled hunters and survivalists who are built for the cold. They age much slower than humans, two years to a human is a year to the Anakulu. One in a thousand children born are male, called Pannikulu. While their skin color ranges between blue and gray and hair colors vary greatly, all Anakulu and their Subraces all have striking blue eyes. Anakulu can procreate with any other race willing to have relationships with them, but the children born are always Anakulu or the possible rare Pannikulu.

The very rare males of the Anakulu. One in every thousand children is born male. They are loved and cared for greatly by their families and their tribe as a whole. When the Pannikulu reach a certain age, they embark on a hunting challenge to prove their worth. When they succeed, they are allowed to travel to Kiume Village, home to all the Pannikulu to grow even stronger among other men and soon possibly be allowed breeding rights with Anakulu. If they fail the hunting challenge, they either die on the mission or they return empty handed and stay with their tribe until they prove their strength.
Ancestors to the Anakulu. These are the females that survived the raging wars that the Icecanters insisted on fighting for many generations. Because of the battles, their biology changed drastically, producing way more females than males. The Snowdancers were far less aggressive than the Icecanters, and that was reflected in their biology. Due to Icecanters wiping themselves out, the Snowdancers were the ones to sucessfully save their race and soon evolved into the Anakulu and Pannikulu. Early Snowdancer remains show they had petite bodies and almost every body discovered showed evidence of having carried a child at some point. Bodies as young as twelve Earth years old have been found to show evidence of having carried a child. Even this early on in history, Snowdancers were copulating with other races to keep their race alive, the most common one being with the elves.
The males of the Snowdancers that were considered to almost be the ancestors to the Pannikulu directly. The Icecanters fought many battles with each other and eventually died out due to these battles. Not much can be gathered from their culture, if they even had a separate culture from the Snowdancers due to only ever have been found in battlefields with injuries from battle. What few were not found in battlefields were in ancient homes having either been juveniles or elders who were not able to fight the battles.
