Anna was the second child born to Dawn and Dusk, Eshala born shortly after her. Anna was actually created by using Eshala's DNA to make a twin, a choice Kaylano made to create his trump card, knowing very well something dangerous was stirring in the world and he didn't want to wait. As a trump card, Anna is a very powerful dragon. She possesses the eight basic elements (Flower, Fire, Electricity, Ice, Earth, Shadow, Venom, and Water) and has the ability to heal like Heal Dragons. She was also chosen to be a Compass Dragon. Anna was raised by Kyrus' human parents until her life was in danger and she escaped. Anna had been mates with Kyrus Volcano, Gemini Amethyst, and Mykau Shimizu. She is currently mates with Glacclaw Cassen. Anna mothered many children due to her confusion in life being a Compass Dragon. After Rakasa's attack on the Academy, she learned she was created by Kaylano for the sole purpose of being a last resort. After learning this, Anna accepted her purpose and continues to run Voutneth and protect Earth and Dragoso from evil.

Malice was always a carefree soul, like most Thunder Dragons. He was born into a secondary royal family. They still lived under the Royal Dragon family's rule, but had some freedom to do as they pleased and assisted with their army of Thunder Dragons when needed. The Zapper Family was also the only known family to be pure Thunder Dragons. Malice discovered he was a Compass Dragon when he found his home destroyed and his parents gone. Zoymey found him and explained everything to him. Malice now lives at the Voutneth Academy caring for Griffins, he can be found asleep on bales of straw in the stable most of the time.

Sylark was abandoned as an egg. His parents put him in the care of his aunt and uncle. However, due to their greed, they left the fledgling behind. Sylark learned to fend for himself and trained hard. He swore to hunt down who he thought was his parents and kill them. Something he did not know he had was telepathy. It wasn't until he went to kill his aunt and uncle did he discover this skill. He also learned his parents were missing, all from the memories of his aunt and uncle. He still killed them, having no mercy for those who abandon fledglings. It was while he stood over their corpses that Zoymey Earth found him. Sylark didn't trust any stranger and was about to attack Zoymey when the Earth Dragon spoke in the ancient dragon tongue, something almost all dragons gave up. It was the only language Sylark knew. Zoymey explained the whole Compass Dragon ordeal and told Sylark he was one as well. Having nowhere else to go, Sylark joined Zoymey. Years later, the Voutneth Academy was built and Sylark became the Military and Advisory teacher. While living at the Academy, Sylark received an interesting visitor, his father. And twin sisters. Sylark's father explained that he and Sylark's mother were in danger. Keeping the kids out of their lives was the only way to keep them safe. Sylark agreed to care for Sarah and Sherri and wished his father luck. Sylark and his sisters are the only known Ice Dragon telepaths.

Zoymey was also the one to form an agreement with Wind Dragons and Earth Dragons to keep some sort of peace after the war was over. As a means to show this pact, Zoymey wears a collar. The leader of the Wind Dragons wears a matching stone with wind on a sapphire collar. Zoymey acts as the second hand leader to the Compass Dragons and the Voutneth Team in place of Anna.
