Rescued from Dragon Hunters, the Exotic Dragons, aka The Exotics, are a group of dragons that stuck together during their capture and stuck with the Voutneth Academy, their rescuers. They are named because of the unique breeds that are part of this group. You would not see these breeds on a daily basis.

Vatuna is the leader of the Exotics. Rescued by the Voutneth Team and soon becoming mates with Trevor Williams. Vatuna is a motherly figure to the younger members of the Exotics and Vul'Gein siblings. She is also the mother of Felix Vul'Gein.

Ractor was rescued from Dragon Hunters by Anna Dragon and her team at the time. He had known the rest of the Exotics for a while they were in cages. Ractor had been the first one chosen to start the conversion. The hunters underestimated the amount of fight he had and caused them a lot of problems. The special muzzle the hunters used left scars on Ractor's muzzle. He sustained chips to his spikes as well after he had reared up and fell against a cage. In a lot of pain, he was forced back into his cage and left without food for days. After his rescue and recovery, he bonded with Brenda Williams and eventually had a daughter with her, Iris.

Ferentar was the first of the Exotics to be captured by Dragon Hunters. Because he was denied the amount of water needed to keep himself hydrated, his tongue was dry and eventually became rough like a cat's. After being rescued, he started to crush on Aya. They eventually bonded and became mates, though they both still have a lot to learn.

Comeli is the youngest of the Exotics. Vatuna watches over her like the young Paradise Dragon is her sister. Comeli sees a best friend in David and has a child's crush on the Water Dragon. Ractor likes to tease Comeli about the two becoming mates and Comeli denies it all the time. Deep down though, Anna knows Comeli hopes to become mates with David since Vatuna and Ractor have Trevor and Brenda. Comeli is still learning how to fight and be a dragon due to being a captive of the Dragon Hunters for so long.
