An amphibian-like race compared to Earth's Axolotls or Salamanders. The Axols are the most diverse race within Dragoso, inhabiting every planet and adapting to each environment. It has been proven they originate from Astronomia where the Space Axols, Infernal Axols, Celestial Axols, and the Axol City of Tol'kinara is located. The Standard Axols however dwells on Aquos. The Standard Axols are described as being quite emotional and very artistic. They are pink in color and naturally have hydromancy capabilities.

Heat Axols have adapted to the volcanic environment of Ixen. They’re fireproof and have evolved to naturally possess pyromancy. They are outgoing and unpredictable much like the fire they wield so it’s hard to pinpoint what they’re thinking about. Luckily, they are quite direct and don’t beat around the bush about anything. These Axols are bright red in color.

The tough skinned Boulder Axols live on Teresj and have developed the ability to use earth manipulation magic. Either maneuvering the ground below them or moving rocks and boulders themselves. With this immense power, they are known to be very patient and wait for the right moment to strike in battle. Even outside of battle they’re patient. They care deeply for their allies and their fellow Boulder Axols. They are a brown color commonly known within Earth axolotls as “wild type.”

Insect Axols made their home on Orrumai but are known to be very skittish and defensive. They don’t like strangers and usually lash out in fear. Thanks to their close connections to insects, they are able to summon one specific type of insect in swarms. It can be useful in battle but more often than not, it’s a distraction before they flee. Due to this connection, they have also developed the mandibles of the insect that they are able to summon. Insect Axols are yellow-green in color.

Beast Axols are one of the more unique Axol variations in terms of color. While most of the Axols are a single color, Beast Axols are known as Calico with black, brown, white, and orange coloring. Alongside the strange coloration, they have very advanced camouflage capabilities to hide among the foliage of Albimelo and are able to speak with animals. They are compared to a predator, moving slowly and quietly when moving about, but are also capable of being imposing and threatening like a predator.

Nature Axols are one with nature on Zarlathil, not only in manipulating it, they also grow various foliage on their arms and legs made to look like boots and gauntlets. They are a very gentle and caring variation that wants nothing more than to help others who need help, however they can. These Axols are a soothing green color.

Chem Axol
Chem Axol
Chem Axols are one of the more aggressive Axols due to the harsh environment of Abeco forcing them to be extreme survivors. They are wary of their companions and even more untrusting of strangers. They are always ready to fight for resources or defend themselves and their own resources. These Axols have developed chemical magic, whether that be acid, radioactivity, or even various status affecting sludge much like Goop Dragons. They are immune to acid and are uniquely colored. They come in a massive amount of colors that has come to be called Rainbow Piebald.

They have developed sand magic, allowing them to move sand at their will. Not only that, they possess a third transparent eyelid to protect their eyes from sand when their bubbles fail to do so. Due to being survivalists, they are usually cautious of strangers at first until trust is earned, then they help wherever they are able to, showing to be quite loyal to their friends. Desert Axols are a tan color.

Battle Axols live alongside the Battoise of Dynastayria, learning weapon fighting skills from them for years. Battle Axols follow their own personal code of conducts, very loyal to these conducts. Thanks to Battoise training, they are also seen as quite wise and patient. Much like Battoise, they are also very respectful of anyone they meet, unless it is proven otherwise that an individual does not deserve respect. Battle Axols are not only proficient in specific weapons types that they learn over the years, they also have blade magic. They can add effects to their blades but are also able to summon daggers to either launch at a target or rain the blades down on a certain area. These Axols are brass in color.

Echo Axols share Sonarius with the Nycteri. They live much more cautiously than others, but are always welcoming to have allies and friends. They have echolocation and can see in the dark easily which allows them to navigate their village caves while enemies aren’t able to. Echo Axols use ambush tactics when they need to fight, though they prefer to avoid conflict when possible. These Axols are dark gray in color.

Metal Axols dwell on Synthetisch alongside the dwarves. Being among a vast amount of metal, they have developed metal manipulation magic, able to shape metal however they want with just magic. The abilities have been integrated into their culture so much that creating their prosthetic tail fins is now a right of passage into adulthood and usually their very first creation. While the fins don’t have to be flawless, they do have to be functional to be proof of being considered an adult. They enjoy making things and always like discussing their projects with anyone who takes an interest. These Axols are copper in color.

Undead Axols have very little trust in any outsiders due to how harsh Whedabra is. While the Undead, Skeletons, and Realives might not outrightly attack them, other undead creatures are more than willing to attack in hopes of an easy meal. Even other outsiders will attack for survival. They enjoy their solitude so much, even when trust is earned, they’re still skeptical of anyone. Being around so much death, Undead Axols have developed Necromancy to survive deadly situations. They’ve adapted so much to Whedabra, they’re silver much like undead skin and have lost their pupils as well.

Electric Axols live on Toirneach, a very dangerous and rather sketchy planet due to the questionable activities that happen periodically. They’ve adapted to the planet by not only being immune to electricity, their skin can even conduct the charges which they use as natural weapons along with their electromancy. Like all the other natives to the planet, they treat outsiders with extreme caution and it takes a lot to gain their trust. They’re willing to help when the help is needed, but it does take some extensive tasks to gain an Electric Axol’s trust. Electric Axols are a golden color.

Infested Axol
Infested Axols can be found on Sakit, a planet known as suicide due to the spores found here. However, Infested Axols have somehow managed to adapt and become immune to the spores. The only sign of spores having affected them was their gills. Instead of gills, they have infested tendrils. They’re very cautious of strangers due to how dangerous Sakit is, but when proven to be an ally, Infested Axols accept them with open arms. Infested Axols are rose red in color.

Space Axols are at times confused for the standard Axols due to them living on their home planet of Astronomia. Of course, due to this, they’re pretty understanding and not too offended by the fact. They’re quite friendly with anyone and pretty mischievous as well. They sometimes use their gravity and black hole manipulation to play pranks on others, be they strangers or friends. It’s all in good fun however and they don’t mean any harm by it as long as their target isn’t an established enemy. Their powers plus the ability to jump between another parallel dimension known to them as the “void,” allows them to be deadly in battle as well. Space Axols are black in color.

While they primarily stay on Astronomia with the Space Axols and Infernal Axols, they still aid the Angels when they are needed. Celestial Axols are very moral and value life above all else. They would rather debate and solve problems rather than turn to violence. A lot of times the talking results in heated arguments, but they aren’t outwardly aggressive. Like the Angels, they have developed divine holy magic. Unlike Angels however, they possess wings of pure light. It’s unknown how they come to develop wings like this, but it is accepted among them. Celestial Axols are also pure white in color.

The two benefit from each other. Infernal Axols are a deep red color and possess demon wings. Like the Space Axols and Celestial Axols, they dwell on Astronomia.
