The teachers in Juying Secondary are highly trained professionals who cater to students’ abilities and learning speeds. Students are trained on the importance of personal responsibility by assigning every student with a cleaning task each week. There is a dedicated counsellor for students to consult with if they have any socio-emotional issues in or outside of school.

Juying has a variety of Co-Curriculum Activities (CCAs) to expand students’ knowledge outside of academics. The Values-in-Action (VIA) trips overseas teach students to appreciate and cherish what we have. What I have learnt are the value of teamwork and the importance of being cooperative with my teachers and classmates so that we can complete our mission.

Every year, the school organises Stand and Deliver, a public speaking programme to develop students to become more confident speakers. There are also many opportunities to showcase our talents.
