Back in 2013 when my daughter had just completed her PSLE exams, we did not know much about JYSS, but only that a new principal from a reputable school was to be posted there. On the day of her Secondary 1 registration, my daughter asked, "Can you transfer me to another school if my grades improve?" We told her that we would. After meeting and talking to the principal, we were convinced by his answers to parents’ concerns and questions about his experiences and confidence in leading JYSS.

After one year, we asked our daughter whether she wanted to transfer to another school, but her answer was no. We believe we have made the right choice as we believe in the leadership of the school's leaders and mentors. We are glad that our daughter was happy in JYSS and how her experience here has motivated her to progress further.

For these reasons, we also enrolled our son into JYSS in 2015. We hope that through proper guidance and motivation, he will progress as well because we believe that by working together with the school, we can succeed. We like JYSS as it has quality leaders as well as capable and responsible teachers and staff.
