In year 2016, I found myself disappointed upon receiving the PSLE results of my son. We found it hard to choose a school since his results were not good enough.

We started to explore the schools in the West area, and I tried asking around to find out which school would be more suitable for my son. A few of my friends told me that Juying Secondary School is a good school, and since it was near where we lived, I recommended this school to my son. The rest is history.

Juying Secondary School has many initiatives that cater not only to the child, but to the parents as well. The barbecue session from Juying Parents Support Group (JPSG) is a school-initiated program that my family and I enjoy attending. I personally think that this provides a good opportunity for parents and child to bond more, given their busy schedules.

Juying Secondary School has good leadership. Mr Seet was a very helpful and kind Principal. He treated students with care and sincerity, and his leaving saddened many of his students. Mdm Soh, the new Principal, has continued to inculcate the ‘JYian spirit’ in the students and the school.

Not only that, ever since my son went to Juying Secondary School, I realised he has started to help out more at home, especially when I am sick. This has made me realise the positive influence which Juying Secondary School has exerted on my son.

Hence, Juying Secondary School is definitely the right choice for my son, and I would recommend the current Primary Six students to choose Juying Secondary School as well.
