I chose Juying Secondary as my first choice because the school has great facilities, even a mini arcade for us to bond with our friends. The school has a good environment for me to study in.

The most memorable experience for me was the cross country that was held recently in April. It not only motivated me to achieve Top 10 placing, it also taught me many values such as resilience and tenacity.

My favourite teacher in Juying Secondary School is Mrs Tee-Ong Xian Qing, She is my Math teacher and has been teaching me since Secondary 1. She is very interesting and approachable. Her lessons are entertaining and she makes learning Math fun and not dry. She helped me a lot when I had to miss several Math lessons due to competitions and whenever I asked her questions, she would answer them with a smile.

Another thing I enjoy in Juying Secondary is my CCA, badminton. The badminton team in our school is very supportive and always cheers each other on. My seniors would also guide me during trainings. I am proud to be in Juying's badminton team, and I enjoy attending CCA sessions, train and represent Juying in competitions. Badminton has certainly motivated me to persevere, be it through the tough trainings or in my studies.

The school provides scholarship for the top 30 students in the cohort and I hope that I can continue to excel in my studies.
