Brian Ng

The years spent in a secondary school can define the growth of a teenager. Therefore, it is crucial to select a school that is a good fit for my child. To me, a dynamic school environment that allows effective learning and character shaping are important.

Brian and I decided to choose Juying Secondary School after attending the Open House. We were impressed by how the school empowered the students. Students were given an opportunity to usher visitors. They were confident and passionate about the school’s facilities and programmes. Through their sharing, it was evident that they had enjoyed the learning environment.

After Brian has enrolled in the school, I am glad to say that the school has exceeded my expectations. The dedication and passion of the school leaders and staff help to motivate the students. The programmes are enriching. For example, recently, Brian and his classmates participated in an overseas trip. Prior to the trip, students were empowered to plan and this gave them an opportunity to hone their decision-making ability. After which, students had to present their thoughts and parents were invited to it. As a parent, I felt a surge of pride as I witnessed how Brian has developed a level of maturity and confidence. I am sure many other parents felt the same about their children as they listened to the presentation.

I am very thankful that we have made the right choice of sending Brian to study at Juying Secondary School.
