Roycedon teow

At first, the proximity of the school to our home and an exemplary display of a student we knew got us interested to find out more about Juying Secondary School. As parents, we had the usual concerns about the reputation of a school, the quality of the staff and more importantly, if our son, Roycedon, could fit into the school culture. We attended the school Open House and knew Juying Secondary School would be the school for Roycedon. During the Open House, we spoke to some teachers and observed the behaviour of the students. We felt that the staff exhibited a high level of enthusiasm and interaction with the students and the students got along well with one other. This is the kind of environment we would like Roycedon to be in.

Now, after one and a half years and having the chance to attend several Parent-Teacher Conferences, we are even more certain that Juying is the right school for our son. His teachers are very encouraging and always try to bring out the best in him. The feedback that they provided, demonstrated that they bothered to understand each student’s strengths and challenges and that is invaluable to us so that we can work together with the teachers. We also like the school culture that moulds students’ character to be morally responsible while having their minds being broadened in class. This is so important for this group of emerging adults as they mature to be both learned individuals and responsible citizens of the world.

With highly engaged students and staff, I am confident that Juying Secondary School will always live up to its school motto, “Together we will succeed”.
