I chose Juying Secondary School as it is the school that I am very familiar with 2 of my older siblings studying in here. Hence, I have visited the open house about 2-3 times and never have the open house disappointed me with the fun activities held.

The key events that I have enjoyed the most is the sec 1 R3IGHT camp. During the camp, I get to bond and be closer with my peers. Furthermore, I really enjoyed the fun-filled activities during the camp.

My favorite teacher is Mdm Rozana bte Salleh even though the other teachers I have met are fantastic too. Mdm Rozana bte Salleh makes my Malay classes interesting but also educational. She tells us interesting, fascinating, funny and also some scary stories too. Most importantly, there are values and lessons behind each story she tells us, which she wants to deliver to us. Overall, I favoured her different ways of teaching from other teachers.

My choice of CCA is Art Club because I really enjoy drawing as it is my way of expressing feelings and releasing stress. I would also want to brush up on my art skills so I chose this club.

I was one of the award recipients of the Juying Scholarship. The scholarship benefitted me as I could buy revision books for my self-study at home and also buy art materials which I would use for drawing and art.

Overall, the Juying Scholarship was very beneficial for us the chosen ones as it not only helped us to be financially independent from our parents for certain school items but it also helped to boost our confidence to do well academically in school and life.
