Gwee Wen Yi

I chose Juying Secondary School because I heard the principal's presentation in my school. I got to know more about the school and the high level of discipline. At the Juying Open House, my parents and I were impressed by the effort the teachers and students put in.

The key events that I had enjoyed are the Secondary 1 Bonding Camp and the Orientation Camp.

The teachers took great care of us. My favourite teacher is Miss Yeo Yee Teng. She always make Science lesson fun. She includes a lot of experiments and let us feel relaxed during her lesson. She always explains instructions clearly with precision. Her instructions are easily understood.

My CCA is NCDCC. My CCA teachers how to respond to situations like terrorist attacks and how to put out fires using fire extinguishers and hose reel. I chose this CCA as I wanted to learn more about First Aid and Life Saving skills so that I can save others when accidents happen.

The scholarship allowed me to have more allowance to purchase my learning materials and it also made me more motivated to study, score better and get more awards.
