My most memorable experience in Juying Secondary School was when I was given a chance to go to another country to do my Values-In-Action project. I was able to learn many values there and experience what the less fortunate go through every day. As not many people are as fortunate as me to go to other countries to experience what the people there are going through, I am extremely grateful for this chance that I had.

My favourite teacher is Ms Jennifer Wong, our School Vice-Principal. She is always very supportive and encouraging of the things I do. She gives me a lot of wise advice in my studies and in the next phase in life. She is always there for me when I'm in need of someone to talk to or when I am troubled. I am really thankful to have met her.

Apart from her, there are also many other teachers who have given me moral support and encouragement. When I signed up for the 2017 Hair for Hope event, there were many teachers who sent me messages to show their support.

Juying Secondary School has a conducive learning environment for me to study and revise my school work. They have many great facilities such as the iPad Room, Gymnasium and a Dance Studio. The school also provides opportunities for the students to learn musical instruments such as the Ukulele and various Percussion instruments.

My CCA is National Civil Defence Cadet Corp (NCDCC). Over the years, I have been taught survival, first-aid and leadership skills. I have also been taught how to save people's life by using AED set or CPR. During School CCA camp, we were given the opportunity to do high elements, such as rock climbing and abseiling. The high elements have taught me moral values like resilience and teamwork which are part of our school values.

Last but not least, the reason why I chose Juying Secondary School as my first choice is because my siblings attended school here. However, I had little knowledge about the school. It was only after I started attending lessons here did I realise that the teachers were very friendly and approachable. The teachers here impacted my life greatly. All the support from my teachers have motivated me in my studies, as well as my self-determination to do well.

I have never regretted choosing Juying Secondary School as my first choice and I am really thankful to the school.
