Time flies and I have already spent one year in Juying. I have so many wonderful memories here. My most memorable one has to be the Orientation Camp that took place during my first week at Juying. During the camp, my classmates and I got to know each other very well. We also learned to work together as a team and eventually we became good friends with one another. One exciting activity during the camp was the campfire. All the Secondary 1 classes assembled in the evening and we competed with other classes by singing songs and cheering. We all shouted and cheered with all our might. It was definitely an eye-opening experience to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Next I would like to tell you about my favourite teacher, Mrs Sophia Ang. Mrs Ang is my Mathematics teacher. When we are confused about any concept, she will patiently teach us until we understand it. Even if she needs to repeat herself a lot of times, she has never once lost her patience. Mrs Ang is also very caring and most importantly, she has taught us very well. Thanks to her, my Mathematics grade has improved tremendously.

Besides awesome teachers, Juying also has a wide range of CCAs. I am in the Badminton Club. I am very happy to be in Badminton, even though the training might sometimes be tough. But I know that the training will help me become a very good player next time so I look forward to every training session. Although I am only in Secondary 1, I was very proud to be able to represent my school for the West Zone competition. We did not win but this experience has definitely helped me to become a more resilient person.

Lastly, I choose Juying as my first choice because of Juying’s clean and conducive studying environment. I feel that the learning environment here is excellent. In Juying, you will meet many teachers who are very warm and approachable. .By choosing Juying as my first choice, I was awarded a scholarship. Thanks to the scholarship, I feel much more confident of myself and the scholarship has definitely motivated me to put in more effort in my studies.
