In a short year, I have made many precious memories in Juying. The most memorable experience I had in Juying was the Secondary 1 Orientation Camp. This camp is unforgettable for me because I made my first best friend there. The camp was full of fun games and exciting activities. There were many inter-class games to raise our competitive spirits. The special thing about the camp was that it was organized by our seniors in Juying. Everyone was very motivated to win the games and through playing, we learnt how to cooperate as a class and really bonded well together.

The games were fun but the teachers in Juying are even more awesome. My favourite teacher is my English Teacher, Ms Francesca Chan. Miss Chan has lots of patience and is very kind. She has a unique sense of humour too, which will always crack the whole class up and lift our spirits up when we are feeling down.

I also love my CCA, the English Language Drama and Debate Society, or ELDDS in short. In ELDDS, we learn about acting and writing scripts professionally. We write out the scripts ourselves and this helps us to learn to see things from different perspectives. As a bonus, my English has improved tremendously.

I am very glad I chose Juying as my first choice. When I came for the Open House, I was very impressed by the facilities and the prefects who showed me around the school. The students here are courteous and helpful, and the environment is very conducive for studying. By choosing Juying as my first choice, I was awarded a scholarship. I was very honoured and it really boosted my confidence.
