Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Seeking the LORD
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Ephesians 2:1-10
Saved by Grace through Faith
1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
John 17:3
Now This is Eternal Life
3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
God LOVES us and showed us His LOVE for us by sending His Son to die for our sins...God's LOVE shows and speaks of His Great Grace...He wants us to seek Him and love Him...God tells us to love Him with all our heart and all our soul and all our strength...To do this we must have time and make time for Him...And we should not only make time for God for our own selves but also our children and young ones...If we do not teach children who will teach them...So our belief in God and His Son helps the next generation know about God and Jesus...
So we must think about God and have and make time for Him...I believe if we never think about Him and never have time for Him, then we know and believe in Him only a little...How we think about God is how our faith is measured...One's thoughts and our time thinking about Him is how our faith is strengthened or lessened...Limited thinking of God gives us a limited knowledge of God and a limited belief in God...The more positive thoughts we have about God, the stronger our faith will be...Our faith then is also how we measure either stronger or weaker God's Grace...A limited faith and belief in God contributes how much we believe in God and His Grace for us...
And so what we think about God and Jesus reflects how we think about His Grace, and we know better that we are saved by Grace through our faith and belief in the God and the One He sent...And this is eternal life: that we know God, who is the Only True God, and His Son, whom God sent to dwell among us...
