John 1:1-14
The Word Became Flesh and Came to Earth
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 3:16-17
God So LOVES the World
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
John 17:2-5
Now This is Eternal Life -That People Know Both the True God and His Son
2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God...Jesus, the Word, was with God in the very beginning...Through Him all things were made, and nothing that was created or made was done without Him...He was involved in the creation of Paradise...Long ago there was a time in this world, when we had a Paradise...The place of Paradise was called Eden...God created Eden for Adam and Eve...But before anyone else could experience the Paradise of Eden, Eve and Adam both sinned –and our Paradise was gone...Paradise was lost on earth...All men and women have a sinful nature...Yet, God remained God and has tried to help us with our sinful ways ever since we were disobedient to Him in the Garden of Eden...But God not only created the world, He LOVES the world and LOVES us passionately and unrelenting...So God sent His Son to us to dwell among us to help us with our sins and to show us how better to live...Through God’s Grace He had His One and Only Son die on the cross for the sins that we have committed in the past, and our present sins, and the ones we will commit in the future...He sent His Son to help us., to help us with our sins...His Son died for us...God is LOVE and full of Grace and Truth...
I see Grace and Truth that includes LOVE, Forgiveness, and Great Mercy...
And God did not send His Son for the most religious groups, the Sanhedrin and the Pharisees, and the teachers of the law...No, He sent His Son for sinners...Those in these religious groups did not recognize Him...His Son did not go to the kings, or the famous, to the governors, the strong, and the well known or the educated...No, He came for sinners, the weak, the meek, those who mourn, the troubled, the sick, the poor, and those who needed help...The sinner is but a very poor, down and out broken person, a lost pauper who is completely at the mercy of God...And His Son went directly to these people...And God is LOVE and He is full of Grace, who completely forgives and LOVES the down and out broken sinning person...The followers of God’s Son know they have failed Him, know that they have fallen short of His Glory, but believe in Him and and His Father and do the best they can, knowing that God LOVES them...His followers have failed what His Son was able to do on earth, yet they try their best to see His unrelenting Grace and LOVE, which gives them faith, hope, and love and eternal life...
