Repentance and Finding God
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
John 17:3
Now This is Eternal Life
3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
God wants us to dislike sin as much as He does...He wants us to have regret and remorse over our sins...We can feel guilty when we sin, a normal feeling for His followers...We find Him when we repent from our sins...God is patient in His promises and ways, as some understand patience and slowness...But God is patient with us...He does not want us to die, not finding Jesus and Him...God wants everyone to find eternal life and have a relationship with Him and His Son...
