John 16:33
Troubles in this World
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 10:7-11 (KJV)
Jesus Came to Earth So That We Might Have an Abundant Life
7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Matthew 9:9-13
Jesus Came for Sinners
9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
John 14:6
Jesus is the Only Way to God
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 17:3
Now this is Eternal Life
3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Life can be tough, if we look how Jesus died on the cross, we see much suffering...And prior to His death, He was tortured and flogged...Jesus never walked the earth in rose-colored glasses and told His Disciples, and us, in this world you will have troubles, and He (also) certainly did...But as we read about His teachings, we see that we can live an abundant life on earth, if we believe in the everlasting joy and belief in God's Son...Eternal life is believing in God and the One He sent...
The highest religious leaders of Jesus' time, did not much believe in Him...Jesus came to earth for sinners...And later He died tortured on the cross for us, at a very young age...He wanted us to see and believe in The Living God and understand that God had sent Him to help us, and by doing this we will have eternal life...And He wants us to do God's Will...
Jesus will be in heaven...And if He is the Only Way to God and to heaven, then the people that do not believe this will not be in heaven and with God or with Him...
