John 17:13-17
God's Word is Truth
13 "I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Foundation in Life
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
Jesus tells us that God's Word is Truth...God's Truth is One Truth and is Exclusive and Absolute...One of man's bigger mistakes is moving away from or not knowing God's Word...As we move away from God's Word then we are moving away from the Absolute Truth and His Way of Life...As we move from God's Truth, it seems, we are moving toward man's truth or our own personal view of truth...With God less in our lives, then trend toward our own personal truth and think less of God's Truth, which is the Absolute Truth...And man does not have the moral compass of God's Truth or God's Word, and there we see many truths in the different opinions and views of man...So as we move away from God and His Word, we move more toward a personal and relative truth that gets individualized and is not the foundation of life as it should be...Life then has less of a foundation, and more of a personal do it yourself type meaning...Truth then becomes marginalized...Because everything God created is and was good, and what man creates is just not as good, ethically or morally...Morality suffers without God...Believers who believe in One Absolute Universal Truth bring a harmony to life and live an abundant life...Many different personal truths around the world bring more chaos and prejudice and biases to each man and our belief systems and to life...Harmony among our neighbors suffer as we believe more and more in our own personal truths...
Truth gives us a strong foundation...Believers look to God to help them with their personal decisions...They know the foundation of life is found in Him...
