Description: Plants 20-40cm. Leaves 4cm width. Flowers red purple or pale purple 2-2.5cm, flowering in April to May. Perennial plants.

Distributional Range: Native Asia-Temperate EASTERN ASIA: Japan [Hokkaidô (s.w.), Honshu]

Habitat: Sandy places on seashores: Hokkaido (southwestern region), Honshu (coastal region of Japan Sea side)
