Description: Plants 5-10cm. Leaves 6-12cm (3-4cm in flowering time). Flowers pale purple or white 2-2.5cm, flowering in April to May. Perennial plants.
Distribution: Native Asia-Temperate RUSSIAN FAR EAST: Russian Federation [Primorye] CHINA: China [Anhui Sheng, Zhejiang Sheng, Gansu Sheng, Jiangxi Sheng, Jiangsu Sheng, Liaoning Sheng, Shandong Sheng, Nei Mongol Zizhiqu] EASTERN ASIA: Japan, [Hokkaidô (s.), Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku] Korea
Habitat: Mixed needle-leaved and broad-leaved forests, broad-leaved forests, forest margins, thickets, grasslands on mountain slopes; 100-1300 m.
