Description: Slimy perennial herb with densely leafy creeping stems, 2–6 cm long. The leaves are alternate, ovate to almost orbiculate, 3-5 mm long and equally broad, glabrous, basically rounded to wedge-shaped, with 2–3 (–4) shallow margins at the margin; petiole is about 2 mm long. The flowers grow individually in the valleys of the leaves; flower stems are 1.5–2 cm long; calyx leaves are lanceolate, blunt on top; the crown is about 1 cm long, violet, spur short; the stamens are 5, with sessile anthers; a single-encapsulated testicle is made up of 3 fruit growers. The fruit is a capsule.

Distribution and ecology : Grows on stony and grassy places at an altitude of 3000–3500 m.
