Description: Perennial plants 5-10cm in height . Leaves 2-4 cm length. Leaves ovate with cordate bases: Leaves and peduncles usually covered with rough hairs. Spurs are thick and long. Flowers white (or sometimes pale pink) 2cm, flowering in March to May.. n=12, 2n=24
Distributional Range: Native Asia-Temperate EASTERN ASIA: Japan, [Hokkaidô (s.), Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku] Korea
Habitat: deciduous forests and slopes
