Common names: オオタチツボスミレ oh-tachi-tsubo-sumire [large electing Inkpot viola] ; Фиалка Кусано ; 큰졸방제비꽃
Description: Perennial herb. Rhizomes long, lignified and thicken. Several stems and a height of 25 (40) cm in the fruit stage. Leaf blade cordate, 3-5 cm long, lower leaf blunt, upper leaf sharply sharp, low serrations, base heart-shaped. The stipule at the lower part of the stem is deeply split in a wing shape, but the upper part is less cut and shallower. White or pale, 6-8 mm long flowers, usually axillary on the stem. Petals 15-18 mm long and the lateral petals have no normal hair. Sepals are lanceolate.
Distributional Range: Native Asia-Temperate RUSSIAN FAR EAST: Russian Federation [Kurile Islands, Sakhalin] EASTERN ASIA: Japan, [Hokkaidô, Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku] Korea, South [Kyongsang Puk (Ulleung-do)]
Habitat: In forest edges and bright forest floors in snowy areas
