Description: Grassy perennial with branched underground rhizome. Rosette shoots 5–15 cm high. Leaves up to 10 mm wide and 65 mm long, long-shoot, ovate or oblong elliptic, on the edge of the town, with 2–5 flat teeth on each side; stipules 2–3 cm long, cirrus into 1-3 lobes up to 0.5 cm long, scattered or densely hairy. Peduncles axial, glabrous, sepals oblong-lanceolate, 0.8–1.3 cm long, corolla 2–4 cm in diameter, yellow or purple, less often white or blue, spur 4–9 mm long. The fruit is a box, up to 1 cm long.
Habitat: pine woodlands and mountain (northern slopes) meadow steppes at an altitude of 1200–1400 m above sea level
