Description: Perennial with thin, branched stems crawling in the rubble. Leaves crowded at the top of the stem, oblong-ovate to inverted-lanceolate, rounded at the top, 1.5–2.5 (–3) times longer than broad, gradually tapering to a shank shorter or at most as long as the blade. Crown reddish-pink, promontory 8–12 mm long. The fruit is a capsule.
Distributional Range: Native Europe SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE: Albania, Greece [North Pindos ]
Habitat: It grows on dry debris of Campanulion hawkinsianae Quézel 1967 and on other skeletal habitats, at serpentinites at an altitude of 1650–2500 m.
Note: It has been described on Smolikas. It is related to Viola magellensis Porta et Rigo from Italy;
