Neither will Him guarding you, doze.

3 The standard English translation, from the Hebrew, namely "He will not let your foot be moved", creates a contradiction in the Bible, and one or more grave errors in a depiction of godly duty and life. God's people have been called on and even forced to move, e.g. Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Jesus, Paul, etc. The Greek (eis sálon) provides clarity, removes contradiction, and gives an accurate depiction of godly duty and life. For an analysis of sálos, see Thayer's and Liddell Scott Jones.
