1 And having embarked into a boat, He crossed over and came to the town, his own town.
2 And look! They brought forth to Him a paralytic lain upon a cot. And the Iesous, having seen the faith of them, said to the paralytic, "Take courage, child! The sins of yours are taken away."
3 And look! Some of the scribes said among themselves, "This one is blaspheming!"
4 And the Iesous, having seen the considerations of theirs, said, "So that what do you consider evil in the hearts of yours?
5 Indeed, what is more easily done: to say, 'The sins of yours are taken away,' or to say, 'Rise and walk!'?
6 Yet so that you may know that the son of the human being has authority on the Earth to take away sins...." Then He says to the paralytic, "Having risen, take up the cot of yours and go away to the house of yours!"
7 And having risen, he went away to the house of his.
8 Yet the crowds, having seen, were scared, and they glorified the God who had given such authority to the human beings.
9 And passing on from there, the Iesous saw a person sitting on the tax-collecting desk, called Maththaios. And He says to him, "Follow Me!" And having risen, he followed Him.
10 And it came to be, His laying up to eat in the house, and look! Many tax collectors and sinners, having come, were laying up to eat together with the Iesous and the disciples of His.
11 And the Pharisaioi, having seen, said to the disciples of His, "Due to what does the teacher of yours eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
12 Yet He, having heard, said, "They being strong do not have use of a physician, but they holding [up] badly do.
13 But, having gone, learn what is 'Mercy I want and not a sacrifice.' Indeed, I came not to call righteous people but sinners."
14 Then the disciples of Ioannes came before Him, saying, "Due to what do we and the Pharisaioi fast a lot, yet the disciples of Yours do not fast?"
15 And the Iesous said to them, "The sons of the wedding chamber cannot lament for as long as the bridegroom is with them. But the days will come, whenever the bridegroom would be taken away, and then* they will fast.
16 Yet neither does one put on a covering of untreated textile onto old cloth, for the patch made of it raises up from the cloth, and a worse split happens.
17 And nor do they put new wine into old skins. Yet if indeed otherwise, the skins are torn, and the wine poured out, and the skins are destroyed. Instead, they put new wine into new skins, and both are guarded together."
18 His having said these things to them, look! A ruler, having come to Him, worships Him, saying that: "The daughter of mine has presently finished living. But having gone, put the hand of Yours on her, and she will live."
19 And having arisen, the Iesous followed him, as did also the disciples of His.
20 And look! A woman haemorrhaging for 12 years, having come forward behind Him, grasped the tassel* of the garment of His.
21 For she was saying to herself, "If I might only grasp the garment of His, I will be saved."
22 Yet the Iesous, having turned and seen her, said, "Take courage, daughter! The faith of yours has saved you." And the woman was saved from the hour, that hour.
23 And the Iesous, having come to the house of the ruler, and having seen the pipists, and the crowd throbbing,
24 said, "Up and depart, for the little girl has not died but sleeps." And they laughed Him down.
25 Yet when the crowd was put out, He, having gone in, seized the hand of hers, and the little girl was raised.
26 And the fame about her went out into the whole of that land.
27 And the Iesous passing on from there, there followed Him two blind people, screaming and saying, "Have mercy on us, son of David!"
28 Yet, Him having come to the house, the blind people came forward to Him. And the Iesous says to them, "Do you trust that I am able to do this?" They say to Him, "Yes, Lord."
29 Then He touched the eyes of theirs, saying, "According to the faith of yours, be it unto you!"
30 And the eyes of theirs were opened up. And the Iesous strongly charged them, saying, "See to it: not one person must know!"
31 They, however, having gone out, thoroughly reported about Him in the whole of that land.
32 Yet, their having gone out, see! They brought forward to Him a person, mute, demonically oppressed*.
33 And the demon having been cast out, the mute person spoke. And the crowds marvelled, saying, "Yet not ever has it appeared like this in the Israel!"
34 Yet the Pharisaíoi said, "By the ruler of the demons does he cast out the demons."
35 And the Iesous was going around to all the towns and the villages, teaching in the synagogues of theirs, and proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every infirmity.
36 Now, having seen the crowds, He felt pity about them, because they were harried and thrown as if sheep not having a shepherd.
37 Then He says to the disciples of His, "Although the harvest is much, yet the workers are few.
38 Beg, then, the Lord of the harvest; that is the way how He would send out workers into the harvest of His."
