3 And* Pharisaíoi came before Him, tempting Him and saying*, "If* it is authorised to [a] human being to loose from the wife of his for any cause?"
4 Yet He, answering, said, "You have not read that He who created made them male and female?"
5 And He said, "For this cause [a] human being will leave the father of his and the mother of his, and he will be glued to the wife of his. And the two will be into* one flesh.'
6 So indeed they are no longer two but one flesh. Thus, what the God yoked together, human [must] not separate."
7 They say to Him, "So why did Moses command to give [a] document of standing apart* and to loose from her*?"
8 He says to them, "Because Moses, before the hardened heart of yours, permitted you to loose from the wives of yours. Yet from [the] beginning it was not this way.
9 Yet I say to you that whoever would loose from the wife of his not upon fornication and would marry [an]other commits adultery.*"
