Matthew 24

1 And having come out of the temple, the Iesoús was walking, and the disciples of His came to [Him] to point out to Him the buildings of the temple.

2 Yet He, answering, said to them, "You do not see these [things], all [of them].* I say to you, amen, no, there may* not be left here [a] stone upon [a] stone that will not be loosened down."

3 Now, [during] His sitting down on the Mount of the Olive Trees*, the disciples of His came to Him, [when He was] on His own, saying, "Say to us, when these [things] will be, and what the sign [will be] of the arrival of Yours and of the aeon's conclusion."

4 And answering, the Iesoús said to them, "See [that] someone not deceive you!

5 For many will come in the name of Mine, saying, 'I [myself] am the anointed*, and many will be deceived.

6 You are destined to hear of wars and things heard about wars. See, be not alarmed! For it is necessary* to happen, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise up upon nation, and kingdom upon kingdom, and there will be times of hunger, and earthquakes, according to place*.

8 Yet all these [things are birth-]pains' beginning.

9 Then they will hand you over to pressure* and they will kill you, and you will be hated by all the* nations* due to the name of Mine.

10 And then many will be ensnared, and they will hand each other over, and they will hate each other.

11 And many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12 And due to the multiplying of the lawlessness*, the love of many will be cooled.

13 Yet the [one] having abided [in love of Christ] under [it]—this [one] will be saved.

14 And it will be proclaimed, the Good News of the Kingdom, this [Good News of the Kingdom], in [the] whole of the inhabited [world], as* [a] testimony for* all the nations, and then the end will be present.

15 So, when you would see the abomination of desolation* (what [was] uttered through Danièl the prophet) stood* in [a] holy place (the [one] reading understand!),

16 then the [ones] in the Ioudaía [must] flee into the mountains,

17 the [one] on the rooftop [must] not go down to take up the [things]* from the house of his,

18 and the [one] in the field [must] not turn back around to take up the clothing* of his.

19 Yet woe to them having in womb, and to them teet-feeding, in the days of those.

20 Yet pray that the flight of yours be not [by] storm* or by sabbath.

21 For there will be then great pressure* such as has not happened from [the] world's* beginning until now, nor, no! no! should* happen.

22 And if the days, those [days], had not been cut short, not any flesh would have been rescued. Yet due to the chosen [ones], the days, those [days] will be cut short.

23 Then, if someone would say to you, 'See! Here [is] the anointed*!' Or, 'Here!', may you not believe!

24 For false anointed [ones]* and false prophets will arise, and they will give great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the chosen [ones].

25 See! I have foretold to you.

26 So, if they would say to you, 'See! In the desert he is!', may you not go out! 'See! In the chambers!' May you not believe!

27 For as indeed the lightning comes out from [sun-]rising [places]* and is made to appear as far as [sun-]setting [places]*, in this way will be the arrival of the Son of Humanity.

28 Wherever,* if there would be the carcass, the vultures will go together there.

29 Now, straightly after the pressure of the days, those [days], the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give the radiance of it[self], and the stars will fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 And then it will be made to appear, the sign of the Son of Humanity, in the sky*. And then they will hit themselves [in anguish], all the tribes of the Earth. And they will see the Son of Humanity coming upon the clouds of the sky* with power and manifold glory.

31 And He will send the angels of His with [a] great battle-horn*. And they will gather up together the chosen [ones] of His from the four winds, from skies' extremities to their [other] extremities.

32 Yet from the fig tree learn the parable: whenever the branch of it had already became soft, and it had grown out the leaves, you know that the summer [is] near.

33 In this way also you, whenever you had seen all these things, you know that it is at the doors.

34 Amen, I say to you, no, the lineage*, this [lineage], should not pass [away] until all these things would happen*.

35 The sky* and the Earth* will pass [away], yet the words of Mine? No, they may not pass [away].

36 Yet about the day, that [day], and hour, no one knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, except the Father alone.

37 For indeed like the days of Nõe, in this way will be the arrival of the Son of Humanity.

38 For like they were in the days that [were] before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Nõe entered into the ark*,

39 and they did not perceive until the flood came and took up all, in this way will be* the arrival of the Son of Humanity.

40 Then two will be in the field; one is taken along, and one is put away*.

41 Two [women are] grinding in the mill; one is taken along, and one is put away*.

42 So, watch, because you do not perceive what day the Lord of yours comes.

43 That* yet know! Because if the head of the household had perceived what watch [of the night] the robber comes, he would have watched, and not allowed the house of his to be broken into.

44 Due to this, also you, become* ready! Because you do not expect in what hour the Son of Humanity comes.

45 Who, then, is the faithful bond-servant, also sound-minded, whom the Lord has appointed over* the household of His, to give to them the food in [the] proper timing?

46 Blessed [is] the bond-servant, that [bond-servant], whom the Lord of his, having come, finds so doing.

47 Amen. I say to you, that He will appoint him over all the belongings of His.

48 Yet if the* bad bond-servant would say in the heart of his, 'The Lord of mine is taking His time!*",

49 and he begin to beat the fellow bond-servants of his; yet he even eat and drink with the ones being drunk,

50 the Lord of that bond-servant will be present on [a] day that he does not anticipate, even at [an] hour that he does not know.

51 And He will cut him in two, and He will put the part of his with the hypocrites, and there there will be the wailing, and the gnashing of the teeth.
