Acts 4

1 While they are speaking before the people, the chief priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came over to over them,

2 being troubled, due to them teaching the people, and preaching the resurrection from the dead in Jesus,

3 and they put their hands on them, and placed them in detention until the morrow, for it was evening already.

4 But many of them hearing believed, and the number of the men became equal five thousands.

29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to Your servants to speak Your word with all boldness ,

30 by You stretching forth Your hand, unto healings and signs and wonders to be realized through the name of Your holy child, Jesus."

31 And their having begged, the place in which they were together assembled was shaken, and all were filled of the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness.

32 And of the multitude of the faithful was one heart and one life, and not one said anything of the possessions of his to be his own, but all things were to them shared.
