16 Instead, this is the saying via the prophet Joel.
17 ‘And it will be, in the last days, says the God,* I will pour out from the Spirit of Mine upon all flesh. And they will foretell,** the sons of yours and the daughters of yours. And the young men of yours will see visions, and the elders of yours will dream dreams.
18 And yes upon the male slaves of Mine and upon the female slaves of Mine, in the days, those [days], I will pour out from the Spirit of Mine, and they will foretell.
19 And I will give wonders in the sky* above, and signs in the earth below, blood and fire and atmosphere** of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned over into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the* coming of the** day of [the] Lord, the great [day], and [His] appearing.
21 And it will be: everyone who call* upon the name of [the] Lord will be saved.’
22 “Men! Israelites! Hear the words, these! Yeshua* the Nazaraios,** [a] man shown by the God by powers*** and wonders and signs that the God did through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know,
23 this [One], by the delineated* will and foreknowledge of the God, given out** through [a] hand of lawless [ones], you, having fastened to [a crucifix], took up [from life];
24 Whom the God made stand again,* having loosed the pains** of death,*** exactly as it was not possible to control Him under it.
25 For David says to Him, ‘I looked forth to* the Lord through all, because** He is on my right, so that I not be shaken.***
26 Due to this, the heart of mine was joyous,* and the tongue of mine exulted. Further yet, also the flesh of mine will dwell in hope,**
27 because You will not leave down the soul of mine in Hades, nor give the holy [one] of Yours to see decay.*
28 You make* known to me life's paths.** You will fill me with joy*** with the countenance**** of Yours.’”
