Varu

Varu is a popular city, known for its culture, taverns, and for the largest opera house in Vorduhr. Since it was significantly far enough away to survive the blast of Dain's explosion, it is largely untouched, and with its proximity to the ocean, the ill-effects of the Exclusion Zone are largely dissipated into the water. However, the attitude of the city has changed somewhat, since with the forming of the Dwarven Foundation the 4th Age, it is extremely unwelcome to visitors, and careful about sharing its culture with non-dwarves.
