The Constitutional Monarchy of Ibania, otherwise called the Ibanian Kingdom, spans the upper-half of the continent of Ibanfall. Throughout the 3rd Age of Blimnor, the Kingdom was led by a patrilinear monarch from the palace in Ibanport in the Thronelands. The kingdom is further divided into the duchies of Ibanclaw, Cerdia, Frostkeep, Fafdor, Eelsmaw, Bountylands, and Stonefall. However, at the conclusion of of the war with the Dwarvic Conglomerate, the citizens of Ibania began to feel that the royal family were cowardly and impotent against the foreign threat, and led a revolt which forced the creation of a constitution and parliamentary system. This, they hoped, would better represent the interests of the common people and put important decisions into the hands of more practical people. And so the influence of the king over the nation lessened. However, some 50 years later, King Vikterion IV Baeyrd died, and with no apparent heir, left the throne empty. Since then, a number of claims of arisen from the various duchies, but with no obvious successor tensions are high.
