Where once was a great mountain range and cradle of dwarven civilization is a crater swamped with chaotic magic that ravages all that wanders through. However, here a resolute collection of smaller dwarven communities, historians, and scavengers pick through the land in hopes of finding things of interest or value, or even an answer as to how they can make it safe. Rumor is that somewhere, where the magic is harshest, some strange oasis has developed.
