Galway (~300) was a ruddy fishing town in southeast, coastal Ferrymellow which had, by the late third age, already fallen on hard times. While its population had peaked around 300 around TA 2500, at the time of the War of the Dwarvic Conglomerate, fewer than a hundred remained in Galway. Its houses were wooden and simple and, due to extreme tide variance in the area, included many houses on stilts, emerging from a few feet of standing water. The murky, shallow waters in Galway Bay were hot and supported less and less fishlife. It is unknown what caused this ecological disaster, but some theories include either a buildup of waste water from the growing Dwarvic Ironclad fleet often patrolling south of the island, or an Udeluppan deepsea research facility dating back to TA 2500. Either way, when the Dwarvic Invaders arrived in Galway in TA 2935 (?), most of the town's population had already died or left. As such, most of the houses in Galway remain intact, albeit deserted and slowly rotting away.
