The claim to fame of Harbury (400) was primarily its age; the halfling settlement is the only town on Ferrymellow known to have existed in the late second age. The beginnings of the town come in fact from the Dwarvic Explorer Poldak, known for continuing the Dwarvic Tradition of building small forts at his most prominent landing sites. This three-story, iron structure formed the center of the town, just 100 meters from Feemes Sound. The Deep waters of the sound teemed with life, and so it was no surprise that Harbury became a fishing town of great renown in the third age, particularly known for the delectable Feemes Sole that lives there to this day. However, Harbury grew beyond other rival fishing towns in the late third age largely due to Dustweed, a pipeweed grown a bit up the Har River. The city was largely destroyed by the Dwarvic Conglomerate, but a few industry buildings remain outside the city, as well as the central Fort structure once built by friendlier Dwarves.
