Republic of Udeluppa

Udeluppa is the name of both the homeland of the Gnomish people in central Blimnor and their government. While history of the name Udeluppa dates back to the late 2nd Age, The Republic of Udeluppa dates back only to TA 1138, when the first Archgovernor, Hepple Farraday, was elected from among the 6 Archcounties of the subcontinent. The ratification of the first Gnomish Constitution, the Magnarep Indespintus, as well as the first session of the House of Chairs, date back to the same year. Before the Glimmersea wars (TA 1575-1918), the Capital of Udeluppa was at Dwakk, a 2nd-tier industrial city by contemporary reckoning. However, when the Peace of Glimvale was signed in TA 1918, the site of its signing was designated as the new capital of Udeluppa, and was designed from the ground up as such. Today, Glimvale is the 2nd-largest city in Udeluppa and the 6th largest in Blimnor. It is known for its brilliant graduated spoke-and-wheel design, a far cry from the organizational chaos of Sparklek. 

The House of Chairs is the 111-set parliament of Udeluppa, Located in Glimvale.
