Dain

The few records of the capital of Vorduhr describe Dain as a massive subterranean city structured by terraced levels all suspended in a volcanic shaft and accessed from the surface by enormous elevators. The city was able to use thermal energy to power much of its industry and amenities, and excess heat had to be shed with extensive and complex pipes carrying liquid coolant.

Being the epicenter of the explosion of a magical bomb, it is theorized to be subject to the strongest and most chaotic magic of the fallout that effects the rest of the Exclusion Zone. As a result, there are no known expeditions to Dain itself, being judged a certain death even to those well-experienced in surviving in the Zone.
