In the Danja swamps, tribes of orcs have discovered a remarkable substance called danjabrium which is a powerful and plentiful combustible fuel. In spite of early battles between tribes seeking to control the substance, it has been found to be so plentiful and valuable that tribal aggression has nearly vanished, and instead an industrial revolution has blossomed among the orcs as they struggle to meet the demand, and develop new technologies of their own such as motor vehicles, rocketry, and firearms.
The Uthwun Bog is said to be very old, with much of its climate having changed little throughout history. It stretches across much of southwest Norgir and is home to the oldest orcish settlements and religion.
To the east of Bsibon, the Danja Swamps possess the greatest concentration of naturally-occuring danjabrium in Blimnor. As a consequence, they are not dotted with pumps and piping to collect the fuel and transport it to the nearby Bsibon where it can be processed and shipped.
The political reach of Norgir extends to the valley of the Gandarak Cradle where a wide hilly savannah is populated both by the Urcha Nudekon fortress and the popular city of Udelutton.
The soggy rainforests of Sh'Zalugga are obscured by near constant mist and cover much of central Norgir. Local legends warn of both monstruous beasts as well as benign spirits.
As the desert canyons of the River Taes reach Norgir, they relax into gentle slopes and flat mesas.
Approaching the mountains to the north, the fertile marshes of Norgir gain altitude and the dry winds of Taesir. Here the highland hills are covered in arid grasses.
